  • Spatial Statistics

My main area of interest is light sustainable urban transportation. Light sustainable urban transportation mainly includes bicycles but also e-bikes, e-scooters, Segways, hoverboards, electric unicycles, and any other vehicle that falls under this definition and uses for urban transportation (not leisure). Light sustainable urban transportation allows a door to door travel for various distances, and last-mile solution for transit users. In my dissertation, I hope to study the way the physical environment (land use, urban form, topography, climate) and the social environment (policy, social networks, society’s attitudes, individual’s attitudes) impact travel behavior of light sustainable urban transportation users and the mode selection.
