SUMMARY:CAREERS: Resume Workshop & Clinic
DESCRIPTION:This virtual JUMP START event is open to ALL graduate students (ALL programs and ALL years). \nOne of the most important documents you’ll ever write is your resume. A resume is a living document which communicates your qualifications and your brand—who you are and what makes you unique compared to the competition—to employers and recruiters. A well-crafted resume serves as a marketing tool to make a favorable impression on potential employers. It also helps employers assess a candidate’s suitability for a role and make informed hiring decisions. It also ensures that you are found in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). \nBe prepared for your internship and/or job applications and join us on September 16th to learn the latest about resumes and get direct feedback on your resume from an industry professional/alumnus. This is an amazing opportunity to get feedback from and network with a professional/alumni in the field. You never know where this can lead – past students have found internships\, opportunities\, and networking contacts via this event. \nHOW IT WILL WORK:\nBloustein Career Professionals will open up by conducting a Resume Best Practices Workshop. To follow will be a Resume Review Clinic where students will be separated into small groups (5/6 maximum) and move into zoom breakout rooms where they will be assigned to a Alumnus/HR/career professional. Each student\, one by one\, will be sharing their resumes with the small group and the alumnus/professional will be providing constructive and professional feedback and advice on each resume.* \nThe deadline to register for this event is September 11\, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. \nREGISTER HERE
