SUMMARY:RAISE 2024: Student Data Science / Informatics Competition Finals
DESCRIPTION:Rethinking AI for Shared Empowerment (RAISE) 2024 is a public informatics data science competition that will test skills in data analysis and problem-solving while highlighting the importance of data analysis in enabling improvements to public policy and social empowerment.  Hosted by Rutgers Bloustein School’s Master of Public Informatics (MPI) program\, this year’s theme is Does News Media Spread Fear of AI? Teams can include 2-5 members of all undergraduate or all graduate students. \n\nThe competition is open to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students from accredited US institutions. Participants must be legally residing in the US for the entire duration of the competition.\n\n\n\n\n\nPriority team registrations\nFeb 15 2024\nSubmission deadline\nMarch 10 2024\n\n\nFinalists announced\nMarch 14 2024\nFinal materials submission\nApril 14 2024\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nFinal in-person round will be held at the Bloustein School\, New Brunswick\, NJ on April 19 2024.\nGov.
