SUMMARY:Undergraduate Pre-major Advising Session
DESCRIPTION:Pre-major advising sessions give interested students an opportunity to learn about the undergraduate program offerings at the Bloustein School. There is an overview of each major\, minor\, and certificate program\, including the admissions criteria and application processes for current and prospective Rutgers students. Students are encouraged to bring questions. The host advisor(s) will answer them or refer the student to the appropriate department/office. \n\n\n\nThese sessions are open to current Rutgers University students who are interested in declaring a Bloustein School major. \nStudents should have the following: \n\n One or more completed semesters at Rutgers with a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA.\n A final grade of C or higher or AP credits for College Writing – 01:355:101 (or equivalent)\n\nAttendance at the session will be used to confirm your engagement with our Office of Student and Academic Services\, which is required to declare a Bloustein School major. Cameras must be on. \nUpdate the Zoom app in advance. There will be a 5-minute grace period to enter the meeting after the start time. \nREGISTER HERE

The Bloustein School Alumni Awards Celebration will be held Wednesday\, February 3\, 2027\, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Zimmerli Art Museum.  \nNominations for the 2027 Bloustein School Alumni Achievement Awards are now open. The Alumni Achievement Awards recognize Bloustein School alumni who have made exemplary contributions to their professions and communities\, while demonstrating support of the Bloustein School. Please take some time to nominate alumni for the following categories: \n\nCareer Achievement: For this award\, nominate a Bloustein School Alum with 15 or more years of experience in their field\, whose personal and professional accomplishments have demonstrated the highest standard of the public service ethic and whose commitment to civic improvement has brought credit to themselves\, their communities\, and the Bloustein School.\nRising Star: For this award\, nominate a Bloustein School Alum with fewer than 15 years of experience in their field\, whose personal and professional accomplishments have been of the highest caliber and have brought credit to the school.\n\nPlease submit your nominations using the Microsoft Form linked below.
