DESCRIPTION:There’s no doubt that networking is a must for landing jobs\, internships and opportunities while at Bloustein\, and like it or not\, it is a skill that you will be using throughout your career. In fact 85% of all jobs are found through networking. Students from all programs (urban planning\, public policy\, public informatics\, health administration and undergrads) are invited to this event. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice networking and connect with our alumni. \nRegistration Required Here \nDress: Professional\nRefreshments will be served.\nPlan to arrive starting at 4 pm to enjoy refreshments and so we can begin promptly at 4:30 pm.

SUMMARY:Undergraduate Pre-major Advising Session
DESCRIPTION:Pre-major advising sessions give interested students an opportunity to learn about the undergraduate program offerings at the Bloustein School. There is an overview of each major\, minor\, and certificate program\, including the admissions criteria and application processes for current and prospective Rutgers students. Students are encouraged to bring questions. The host advisor(s) will answer them or refer the student to the appropriate department/office. \n\n\n\nThese sessions are open to current Rutgers University students who are interested in declaring a Bloustein School major. \nStudents should have the following: \n\n One or more completed semesters at Rutgers with a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA.\n A final grade of C or higher or AP credits for College Writing – 01:355:101 (or equivalent)\n\nAttendance at the session will be used to confirm your engagement with our Office of Student and Academic Services\, which is required to declare a Bloustein School major. Cameras must be on. \nUpdate the Zoom app in advance. There will be a 5-minute grace period to enter the meeting after the start time. \nREGISTER HERE
