Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers. “Ten thousand baby boomers per day are leaving the labor force, and to a large degree they represent yesterday’s work force,” Hughes said. “Millennials are in their place. … They are starting to form households, and they have delayed household formation.”
