In late December 2017, Nassau County Comptroller-elect Jack Schnirman announced the addition of new members of his executive team, including naming Erika E. Hill MCRP ’11 as Director of Programs & Community Engagement. Ms. Hill previously served as director of programs at Sustainable Long Island, where she led a team that implemented community-based projects in collaboration with local stakeholders in the areas of community economic development, community revitalization, environmental health and environmental justice. Prior to that, she was the Senior Project Manager at a MWBE Smart Think Marketing Group, where she oversaw the entire research project process. During her graduate studies she worked at the Queens Economic Development Corporation and NYS Home and Community Renewal. She previously worked at the Partnership for Southern Equity and United Way of Greater Atlanta. She is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a graduate of Rutgers University with a Master in City and Regional Planning (MCRP).
