Recognized as a passionate leader in education, research, and clinical care, Dr. Catherine Florio Pipas is the author of A Doctor’s Dozen: 12 Strategies for Personal Health and a Culture of Wellness. The book delivers the framework for a wellness curriculum for health professionals – and everyone else.  Committed to improving health nationally and internationally, Dr. Pipas provides coaching and training across professions to promote healthy individuals and healthy organizations. Her vision is for Healthy Individuals Contributing to Healthy Communities.

Dr. Pipas discussed the importance of well-being and drivers of burnout for all health professionals. By applying evidence-based well-being strategies to advance personal health, she sought to help professionals create their own personal health improvement plan (PHIP) to sustain well-being over a lifetime.
