Elizabeth Tomaselli

Health Administration Undergraduate: Elizabeth Tomaselli

What Elizabeth says:

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the critical role that telemedicine plays in increasing both the geographic and financial accessibility of healthcare. I’m proud to be able to continue to make healthcare more accessible through remote access to physicians, and will continue to do so throughout the pandemic and after it subsides.

This crisis, which takes up so many of the healthcare industry’s resources, doesn’t diminish the need for consistent, preventative care services, and yet these services are being limited.

Her job:

At Twentyeight Health, we provide women with affordable, remote access to reproductive healthcare through telehealth services. In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, this is more important than ever. Traditional OB-GYN offices, and even some Planned Parenthoods, are closing their doors, limiting access to affordable reproductive healthcare. This crisis, which takes up so many of the healthcare industry’s resources, doesn’t diminish the need for consistent, preventative care services, and yet these services are being limited. Not only have we continued to provide care remotely, but we are working to help women continue to access this care even as they lose their jobs and insurance coverage due to COVID-19 closings.

Career aspirations:

With the completion of my studies, I’ll be staying on as a Customer Success Specialist with Twentyeight Health.
