Student and Alumni Spotlights

Health Administration Alum: Nicolette Gadaleta

Health Administration Alum: Nicolette Gadaleta

What Nicolette says:

I am a motivated, goal-oriented professional with first-hand clinical, operational, leadership, and marketing experience. I aim to bring a constant level of drive and passion to the team that others have called contagious. Over the last three years, I completed my MBA in Marketing and found myself in the pharmaceutical advertising industry, most recently landing at Havas Life Metro, part of the Havas Health & You Network. The president of the agency is a Rutgers-New Brunswick alumnus, which solidified my decision to make the move.

As one of the first students in the Rutgers health administration program, I found the connections to the large alumni network readily available while also having a personalized experience.

Her job:

I recently joined the Havas Life Metro team as an Account Supervisor. In previous roles, I have led the day-to-day team for U.S. and global launches and have experience across Oncology and Neurology. Before joining Havas Life Metro, I was the agency lead for the Biogen Multiple Sclerosis portfolio, specifically working on TECFIDERA and the launch of VUMERITY. Before that, I supported Bristol Myers Squibb’s OPDIVO Gastrointestinal team.

Why health administration:

Prior to agency life, I interned, twice, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in clinical operations. As one of the first students in the Rutgers health administration program, I found the connections to the large alumni network readily available while also having a personalized experience, with less than 550 students in my graduating class.

One of my favorite mentors to date is Ann Marie Hill, whom I still call my favorite professor from all of my undergraduate and graduate classes. I love having the opportunity to come back to students still in college to discuss their opportunities in the healthcare advertising field.
