Social media platforms have imploded with misinformation and hate. Linda Stamato, co-founder of the Center for Negotiation and Conflict Resolution and Policy Fellow at the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, makes a case for some sort of regulation and a restoration of trust in digital content for these platforms to truly function as public squares.
