But while the test results are becoming public, the opt-out question remains unanswered about New Jersey’s first administration of the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) exams.

“There is no reason why we should all be speculating,” said Julia Sass Rubin, a member of Save Our Schools NJ, a parent group at the forefront of the opt-out movement. “They should just put it all out there.”
