Jaffe are co-directors of the Center for Negotiation and Conflict Resolution wrote an opinion column that seeks to shed light on the abuse of confidentiality when it comes to agreements that shield individuals and corporate malefactors and by so doing perpetuate harassment, abuse, even assault, and, in the case of corporations that hide defects or product failures that lead to injury, even death.
