Bloustein's Lynn Astorga, Asst. Director of Student Recruitment, partners with Idealist to help connect prospective students with social impact grad programs

June 11, 2019

Are you thinking about attending graduate school, or do you know someone who is?

A new video by Idealist.org, an organization which helps connect prospective graduate students with public-interest / social impact graduate programs, highlights Idealist’s new Grad Schools directory. Graduate schools join and create profiles with program information, application requirements, and enrollment data to tell candidates what they need to know about their programs. Prospective students can access this information in one location and use filters to tailor their grad school search to their specific needs.

The video features the Bloustein School’s Dr. Lynn Astorga, Assistant Director of Student Recruitment! The Bloustein School has partnered with Idealist for almost 20 years, and school representatives attend Idealist graduate fairs across the country each year to meet with students.

Watch the video here:

If you’re thinking about graduate school for an advanced degree in urban planning, public policy, big data/informatics or health administration, Dr. Astorga and the recruitment team will be attending Idealist graduate fairs in New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle this fall. Check out the fall schedule here https://www.idealist.org/grad-schools/attend to find out more.
