A Virtual Evening with Extraordinary Women Leaders in Healthcare

October 8, 2020

With the dawn of a new normal in the face of a pandemic, navigating through one’s career path may feel daunting.

Students in the undergraduate public health and health administration majors, and graduate health administration program, are invited to join the Northern NJ Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association chapter, in partnership with Rutgers University’s Bloustein School and Seton Hall University for an interactive evening with three extraordinary women leaders in healthcare.

“A Virtual Evening with Extraordinary Women Leaders in Healthcare” will be held on Tuesday, October 20 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. This moderated panel will feature Kayla Spence, Associate Director Clinical Operations, NYC Health + Hospitals, Stacy Lallier, Director of Strategy & Governance, BioResearch Quality & Compliance, Janssen Research & Development, and Paula Gutierrez, Director of Diversity & Inclusion, RWJBarnabas Health

This is an exciting event for students to connect with leaders as they share their diverse experiences of navigating through their careers, as well as how current pandemic challenges have impacted them. Topics will include Health Disparities & Population Health, Diversity & Inclusion and End-to-End Career Management, and Mentoring & Networking.

After the panel, participants will have the opportunity to join a smaller breakout session with one of the panelists to have a more in-depth discussion on these topics. By participating in this program, guests will understand the importance of leveraging networking and resources throughout your career, learn how to navigate and rise through challenges, and develop resilience during uncertain times.

This event is open to HBA members and nonmembers. Registration is required for all attendants. This event is FREE for students. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing instructions about joining the Zoom meeting.
