On Monday, May 14 recent alumnus Dan Kravetz MCRP-MPP ’12 was a guest on New Jersey Public Radio discussing pedestrian safety. The story, which used research completed by Kravetz and Dr. Robert Noland, also appears inTransportation Nation. Kravetz found that a relationship existed between low income neighborhoods and high pedestrian crashes.
Poor Pedestrians More Likely to be Struck by Cars
Kravetz and Noland first presented this research at the Transportation Research Board conference in January, and they will publish their final paper in the next few months.
