NJLM Educational Foundation to present annual economic summit at EJB, July 12

The NJLM Educational Foundation will present its annual economic summit at the Bloustein School’s Civic Square Building in New Brunswick on Thursday, July 12, 2012.  Presenters will analyze, from the state, regional and national perspectives, New Jersey’s recovery from the great recession.  This half-day event will examine the current recovery in terms of jobs, housing, and commercial real estate and the implications for municipalities, and fiscal trends and how we do business going forward.

Attendees will be given a detailed review of the companion white paper “New Jersey Employment Upswing? Or will it Succumb to the National Slowdown?” by Bloustein Dean James W. Hughes and University Professor Joseph Seneca.  The paper is available free by download at www.njlmef.org

The focus audience is mayors and elected officials at all levels of government and corporate/business leaders interested in hearing the latest on the state of the economy.
