Graduate Program | Public Policy Joint Degree Program
Dual Degree with Rutgers Law School (MPP/JD)
The Rutgers Law School in Newark and Camden and the Bloustein School offer a dual Master of Public Policy /Juris Doctor (MPP/JD) degree, designed for students who are interested in law and public policy.
This four year program is a savings of 24 credits (one year) relative to completing both degrees independently.
Rutgers Law School and the Bloustein School each accept 12 credits from the other toward their respective degrees.
Students may begin the dual degree at either the Bloustein School or Rutgers Law School but must complete the MPP portion of the degree prior to completing their last year of law school.
To be considered for the dual degree program, students must apply and be accepted separately into the Bloustein School’s Master of Public Policy Program in New Brunswick and into Rutgers Law School in Camden or Newark. The dual degree program is also available to students currently enrolled at either the Bloustein School or Rutgers Law School.
