Heldrich Center offers brochure as tool for job seekers, students, counselors

Created as a tool for career success, Greener Pathways: Paving Your Way to Career Success Starts with Understanding New Jersey’s Labor Market, developed by the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Developmentoffers a greater understanding of the changing workforce and emerging skill requirements in New Jersey; provides information for counselors, parents, and teachers to help students and job seekers make important decisions about their education and career options; and offers resources from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development to guide students and job seekers as they enter the working world.

The brochure offers information on today’s labor market, workforce trends and their implications for the skills workers need, high-priority skills workers must have in the 21st century workforce, key New Jersey industries, tips for using skills on the job, employer advice about workplace success, as well as advice for aligning education and career goals.
