MCRP Ian Murphy Receives APTA’s William Millar Scholarship

Ian Murphy, a second-year Master of City and Regional Planning student, is the recipient of the American Public Transportation Foundation’s William Millar Scholarship.

This distinguished scholarship is granted to college students and transit professionals dedicated to pursuing or advancing their careers in the public transportation industry.

At the Bloustein School, Ian is specializing in Transportation Policy & Planning. His academic and professional focus is on the critical intersection of transportation and sustainability. Ian is a firm believer in the essential role that public transit plays in comprehensive climate action, and he is committed to leveraging the skills and knowledge he is gaining at Bloustein to drive meaningful progress in America’s public transportation systems.
