The Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University announced Tuesday the launch of the New Start Career Network, which aims to help the state’s 100,000 long-term unemployed individuals re-enter the workforce.
To do this, Philip Murphy, chairman of the advisory board for New Start Career Network and chairman and co-founder of nonprofit New Start New Jersey, said it was imperative the initiative continue to build a set of solid relationships with companies.
