Bloustein, SCUT continue strategic partnership with five-year agreement

June 1, 2015

The South China University of Technology (SCUT) has been a key strategic partner for Rutgers in China over the past several years. The two universities have developed several programs and initiatives to facilitate faculty and student exchange, encourage research collaboration, and strengthen the education provided to students at both institutions. Several Rutgers schools, including the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, School of Engineering, Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning Public Policy, and Rutgers Business School have developed programs together with SCUT to provide global education opportunities to students at SCUT and Rutgers.

On May 20, 2015, the Bloustein School and SCUT signed a 5-year, 2+2 agreement for the public policy major. Bloustein School Dean James W. Hughes (fifth from left) and Associate Dean for Academic Programs Dona Schneider (third from left) attended the event.
