Dr. Williams Elected Publications Officer for the Survey Research Methods Section (SRMS) of the American Statistical Association

Dr. Shar Williams was elected Publications Officer for the Survey Research Methods Section (SRMS) of the American Statistical Association in May 2026. Her term will begin in January 2027.

The Publications Officer promotes SRMS-related activities and opportunities, accomplishments, interesting topics, and other information through their various communications channels (newsletters, website content, and social media). Also involved is collaboration with section leadership to communicate member achievements and strengthen engagement within the survey research community.
