In an age where artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping every facet of our lives and human society, investigating the consequences of our future with AI has never been more critical. The RAISE-25 Informatics-Data Science AI Competition invites participants to explore the theme, “Our Future With AI: Utopian or Dystopian?”

This competition offers an excellent platform for students to showcase and enhance their abilities in data science and AI to critically assess ‘Our Future with AI’. By focusing on AI’s potential to foster a positive future while also highlighting potential risks, participants will investigate AI and education, AI and jobs and careers, and AI’s broader societal implications, including impact on personal lives. Last year’s RAISE-24 competition had more than 100 undergraduate and graduate teams register to compete and shape our collective understanding of AI and human society – the RAISE story continues!
The competition is open to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students from accredited US institutions. Participants must be legally residing in the US for the entire duration of the competition.
