Bloustein Planning and Design II, Fall 2019
An approximately 80-acre site in the heart of the North Philadelphia neighborhood was reimagined to discover strategies for redevelopment. All three proposals made recommendations to lower the impacts of gentrification. The proposals created unique designs of the circulation patterns to bring together the network of the existing infrastructure, buildings, and block patterns. The designs added public spaces that only the residents would value and use for social gathering and cultural celebrations.
