Heldrich Center’s Michele Martin discusses Mental Health Awareness

In commemoration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Heldrich Center for Workforce Development shared a new video interview with Michele Martin, Director of Technical Assistance at the Heldrich Center and Director of the New Start Career Network. Michele discusses the impact of pandemic-related job loss and unemployment on mental health and well-being, the impact of the job search on mental health and well-being, and strategies for building well-being during the job search. She also discusses red flags that job seekers should look out for that indicate when mental health and emotional well-being are interfering with the job search as well as strategies and techniques to nurture one’s well-being.
