Kathe Newman Joins Provost Leadership Research Fellowship

Kathe Newman has been selected to join the Provost Leadership Research Fellowship at the Chancellor-Provost Office for the Fall ’24 and Spring ’25 terms.

Fellows are mentored by the Senior Vice Provost for Research along with the Director for Research Development & Strategy for implementation of their fellowship and work with other Fellows in the OVPR. The Senior Vice Provost for Research serves as a strategic partner in New Brunswick fostering collaborations, advocating for resources, and developing communication to promote a culture of faculty and student-inclusive and innovative research. The OVPR provides advice and planning for university-wide research initiatives and priorities including its Centers and Institutes, supporting New Brunswick and its cross-campus and Chancellor-led units’ research infrastructure development. Fellows will support the strategic planning and implementation of the goals of the OVPR, with a focus on adhering to the office’s core principles of interdisciplinarity, transparency, and equity.
