Assistant Teaching Professor

William Cundiff joined the Bloustein School as an Assistant Teaching Professor in January 2024. He possesses extensive teaching experience at the MHA and MBA levels as well as an adjunct instructor, both on-campus and online.

He also served as campus executive of a small college in New York. Bill was also president of an educational organization that developed and operated medical schools for North American students in the Caribbean Basin, United Kingdom and West Africa, permitting its graduates to sit for the requisite licensing examinations to practice medicine in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Bill is a founding member of both Novo Dialysis Management, a dialysis services provider in the U.S. marketplace, and Sahel Health, an organization providing patient-facing healthcare services and supplies to various countries and citizens throughout West Africa.  In a prior role, he was the Executive Vice President of a healthcare organization, recognized as the nation’s 7th largest in its industry sector.

A law school graduate, Bill possesses an MBA in finance and analysis, a graduate-level certificate in Six Sigma/LEAN for healthcare and hospital settings, and professional certifications in healthcare practice administration, healthcare leadership, physician practice management, and in the areas of compliance, privacy, and regulatory affairs.

He is currently serving or has served in a board member capacity in both non-profit and for-profit entities in the following organizations: National Quality Forum – Rural Healthcare Advisory Group, Kidney Care Council, National Renal Administrator Association, Renal Services Exchange Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), American Diabetes Association – New York Chapter, and National Organization for the Advancement of Haitians in New York. In addition, he serves as an Advisory Board Member with both Hospira/Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Infian/Quantitative Medical Systems.

Bill has also testified before Congress, and frequently comments on healthcare regulatory matters in the press.  He is a regular conference/presentation speaker and writes columns for popular physician practice management, health care reimbursement, and compliance newsletters and websites.
