POSTPONED: Bloustein School's Candeub lecture, originally scheduled for November, postponed

October 19, 2016

Please note that the Bloustein School’s Isadore Candeub Memorial Lecture in Planning, “Infill Development in Metuchen,” originally scheduled for Wednesday, November 2, has been postponed. A new date will be announced in the spring of 2017.

*************************

This lecture will discuss the five-year process by which a four-acre surface parking lot in the center of the community is being turned into apartments, including affordable housing, and a multi-story parking garage for commuters. Just a short walk from the train station, the project furthers Metuchen’s goal of developing a true transit village. Len Roseman, chair of the Metuchen Borough Parking Authority, will be accompanied by Metuchen’s professional planner, James Constantine, and former parking authority attorney, James Graziano.
