McDonough elected to American College of Healthcare Executives Council of Regents

Michael J. McDonough, DMH, FACHE, an Associate Teaching Professor of Health Services Administration at the Bloustein School, has been appointed to the Council of Regents, the legislative body of the American College of Healthcare Executives. The Council of Regents serves as the vital link between ACHE and members by approving governance and membership regulations as well as promoting ACHE programs, services and activities within their respective areas.

McDonough will take office at the Council of Regents meeting March 25, 2017, during ACHE’s 60th Congress on Healthcare Leadership at the Hilton Chicago. As a Regent, Healthcare will represent ACHE’s membership in the Northern New Jersey Regent Area.

Board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow, McDonough received a Doctor of Medical Humanities degree from Drew University in Madison, NJ.  He holds an MBA in Health Services Administration from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY, an MA in Economics from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Florham Park, NJ and a BA from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ.
