Do Your Physicians Speak Finance?

As clinicians strive to deliver—and continually improve—high quality, cost-effective care, they need a much deeper financial understanding. This should include not only the imperatives their organizations face, but also the implications of their own decisions. It is management’s responsibility to provide clinicians with the knowledge and skills to speak the language of health system finance so that they can come to a common understanding and work together to drive sustainable change.
