Fourth Annual Sustainable Raritan River Conference, June 14

There is still time to register for the fourth annual Sustainable Raritan River Conference, The Raritan River Region:  Flooding, Regeneration and the Next Generation, to be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012. It will be held at Duke Farms, 80 U.S. Highway 206 in Hillsborough, NJ.

It will include a day of workshops and interactive discussions on citizen science and bioblitzes, dam removal and stream restoration, municipal success stories, corporate responsibility, land management, flooding mitigation and adaptation, practicing regeneration, and how we engage our communities, our neighbors, and our kids.

The Raritan River Conference is especially for municipal leaders, business leaders, county officials, non-profit organizations, state and federal government officials, environmental commissions, and civic-minded residents of ALL 99 Raritan River Watershed municipalities. Continuing education credits available.

The event is sponsored by The Raritan River Collaborative and Rutgers University. Online registration available.
