EJB professor Henry Coleman to be honored by New Jersey Future, October 30

September 30, 2014

New Jersey Future will honor its longtime trustee Henry A. Coleman, a professor at the Bloustein School, at a reception on Thursday, October 30 at Christopher’s Restaurant at The Heldrich, 10 Livingston Ave. in New Brunswick from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

In their release, New Jersey Future noted, “Henry is the embodiment of an exemplary scholar and public servant. His legacy can be seen in the students he has taught, through his work in government – notably as executive director of the State and Local Expenditure and Revenue Policy Commission and director of the Center for Local Government Services – and through his influential service on numerous boards, including New Jersey Future, the Fund for New Jersey, the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, and many, many others.”

The celebration will be preceded by an afternoon symposium, “What’s Next After Rebuilding? Making Resilience Happen,” presented by New Jersey Future and the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy, taking a look back at the two years since Superstorm Sandy landed in New Jersey and exploring the latest advances in resilient design, how it will be paid for and where the cost burden will fall. The symposium will take place at the Bloustein School’s Civic Square Building, 33 Livingston Ave. in New Brunswick from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
