Keep your enemies close: Adversarial collaborations will improve science

December 8, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free
Group of people rolling the gears, representing working together concept.

Presented by: Cory Clark, University of Pennsylvania’s Adversarial Collaboration Project

Cory Clark is a Visiting Scholar in the Wharton School and the School of Arts and Sciences at University of Pennsylvania. She and colleagues advocate for adversarial collaborations, a methodological procedure in which disagreeing scholars mutually design research procedures to test their competing hypotheses. This process can facilitate more rigorous science because both proponents and opponents must agree to fair and unbiased tests.

Sponsored by Cooperation Interest Group at Rutgers (CIG@R), a university-wide group of people interested in cooperation and collaboration, involving Individuals from both Rutgers and Arizona State.
