Real estate market trends, future expectations to be discussed at Real Estate Development and Economic Summit, Dec. 13

postcard-1News, trends in commercial real estate development, regional cooperation, infrastructure construction, best-practices in commercial real estate investment and pricing, finance and debt, economics and land policy, sustainable development, and occupational strategies will all be topics of discussion at the Real Estate Development & Economic Summit to be held at the Bloustein School on Friday, December 13.

James W. Hughes, Dean of the Bloustein School, will present the broad national and global economic outlook and moderate the event. Expert panelists to include Joseph Seneca, Ph.D., University Professor, Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning & Public Policy, who will discuss New Jersey’s economic outlook; Jose Cruz, Senior Managing Director, HFF; Mitchell Hersh, President,Mack-Cali Realty; Steven G. Vittorio, Managing Director, Prudential Real Estate Investors;  Jeff Hipschman, Sr., Managing Director, CBRE; and Christopher J. Paladino; President, DEVCO.

Participants will get an overview of current commercial market conditions in the New Jersey area as well as an understanding of expectations for the future of the New Jersey real estate market. Presenters will discuss local, state, and national investment and development trends over the past year, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, metropolitan areas, and evaluate and discuss current economic and employment conditions that are driving local real estate markets.

Dr. Hughes will also moderate a brief interactive discussion that will include an audience question and answer period.

The event is free and open to the public and will begin at 9:00 a.m. It will be held in the Special Events Forum, Civic Square Building, 33 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
