Rutgers Robotics Workshop 2026
The annual Rutgers Robotics Workshop series was initiated as part of the SOCRATES NSF Research Traineeship (NRT) Program and is now co-organized with the Rutgers AI and Data Science Collaboratory and Rutgers DIMACS.
The goal of the 2026 Rutgers Robotics Workshop is to bring together faculty, researchers, and students working in robotics from across the university to identify synergies, brainstorm new collaborations, and build teams for upcoming proposal submissions. We will also discuss ways to strengthen the Robotics@Rutgers identity and increase the visibility and coordination of robotics research across Rutgers.
Faculty working in robotics are encouraged to sign up to give a 10-minute research talk. These talks should provide a brief overview of your research area, with particular emphasis on opportunities for collaboration with other Rutgers researchers. The workshop will also include a dedicated session to discuss upcoming proposal and funding opportunities, with the goal of identifying areas where Rutgers researchers can form new interdisciplinary teams. The day will conclude with robot demonstrations and a student poster session.

Participation is free, but registration is required. Registration closes Friday, October 9.
