Professor 'watchlist' is nothing new to watchful New Jerseyans | Opinion

“watchlist” that surfaced recently, courtesy of Turning Point USA, founded by Charlie Kirk, a 23-year-old conservative activist, targets so-called leftist speech on college campuses. It uses student reports and off-campus writings to find its targets.

It’s unsettling to see this latest variation of McCarthyism, but it’s hardly surprising  given the current levels of intolerance and divisiveness afflicting the country.
