Blou students meet Sadik-Khan at TRB meeting in Washington, DCBloustein MCRP students focused on transportation attended the 92nd Annual Transportation Research Board Meeting in Washington, D.C. January 13-17, 2013. The students attended presentations, poster sessions and meetings related to technology, design, and policy research around all forms of transportation.  The students were fortunate to meet Janette Sadik-Khan, Commissioner of the New York City Department of Transportation, who was participating on a panel discussing innovations in city transportation. Ms. Sadik-Khan is responsible for aggressively pursuing the pedestrian plazas, bike lanes and bike share program which are transforming New York City, and took the time to meet with the Bloustein students in attendance.
