Muazzam Toshmatova Wins Best Health Equity Paper
Muazzam Toshmatova, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Heldrich Center for Workforce Development. Her paper, co-authored with Marina Lovchikova, titled “Immigration Enforcement and Health Insurance Choices: Evidence from Secure Communities,” won the ward in the Health Equity program area. The 13th annual conference was held June 16-19 in San Diego, California.

Bob Kopp named 2024 Guggenheim Fellow
Bob Kopp is an associated faculty member with the Bloustein School. He is a climate and sea-level scientist, a climate policy scholar, and a distinguished professor in the Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences. He won the 2024 Fellowship in the Geography & Environmental Studies category.

Sustainable Jersey named Leigh Ann Von Hagen a 2024 Sustainability Hero. Leigh Ann is a managing director and adjunct professor with the Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center and a founder of the Planning Healthy Communities Initiative.
