New Heldrich Report: Descriptive Analysis of New Jersey’s Educational Opportunity Fund Program

February 9, 2024

The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program aims to improve higher education accessibility for students from economically and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds while fostering their academic and professional achievements. A new report from the New Jersey Statewide Data System (NJSDS), Descriptive Analysis of New Jersey’s Educational Opportunity Fund Program, examines the educational and employment outcomes of students who have participated in the NJEOF program. The study investigates the graduation rates, workforce participation, and earnings of students who have completed either an associate or Bachelor’s degree after 2013.

The New Jersey Statewide Data System is the State of New Jersey’s centralized longitudinal data system for public administrative data. NJSDS is owned by the State of New Jersey and operated by the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
